Epistula now supports the nofollow tag. It does it like this:
If you have less than 3 comments that are not marked as “Untrusted” (ie, are a new user) your comments are flagged in the database as “Untrusted”. The effect of this is two fold:
- All your comments get ‘rel=”nofollow”’ in the link
- Your gravatar/stamp doesn’t get a postmark.
(I bet you were all wondering what those postmarks were for. Well, now you know).
(IE users: You don’t see postmarks ever. I’ll fix this at some point)
