Today, Amazon.com launched it’s SOAP/XML-driven webservices thing, and I hope that Amazon.co.uk does the same thing soon after. I recently got involved in this sort of thing when I was attempting to get Aquarionics to talk to blo.gs each time it updated, and now I can see how nice some things would be if I used it, a couple of my projects (the open-standard Exchange-type thing and Aquarionics3, mainly) have suddenly sprouted bubbles as I learn more about SOAP.
So I’m downloading the developers pack for the Amazon.com interface. Fun things may be happening soon…
