Reef, the server that is our fileserver, mailserver, router, CVS repository and playground for the Geekhouse has died. It died a while ago, so I bought a new power supply. Then it died again (Didn’t boot, didn’t accept keyboard input), so I replaced the mobo and cpu with the one from my old computer – Delirium. Last night it crashed, hard, and no longer boots. Replacing the old mobo made it work a little, but as soon as cc got the ADSL back up again, it started crashing (Kernel panic) every half hour. I’m more than a little irritated that all my hardware (because – with the exception of the SCSI interface and the USB card – all of the hardware in all the servers *is* mine) appears to be dying. Updates will be infrequent until we get online again.
