Today I
Today I…
- Awoke at 6:30, when a doorbell went off in my dream, causing me to leap up and find dressing-gown and go downstairs.
- Had the floorboards collapse when I stepped into the shower
- Still haven’t had my first cup of tea
- Sat down to wait for a print-out to finish. Heard it finish, and then left. Without the print-out.
- Considered organising a UKBlog Meet.
- Noted that I should really sort out my own life before I try to affect anyone elses
- Am going to get a hair-cut.
T’ra.
Well, colour me organised, because [strong]I[/strong] got a haircut. The UKBlogMeet sounds fun…
Talking of UK blogmeets, there’s a rumour going round the blogosphere of an actual tea party, as opposed to the usual virtual tea party that goes on in the afternoons at my place. It depends if we get enough interest. Tea at the Dorchester?
Can we just eschew the term “Blogmeet”, it conjures up pictures of guest speakers and a bunch of geeks using laptops…
UKiloBytesBlogMeet sounds…different.
Oooh, bug…
You do have a point.
Suggestions for better names?
“tea party.”
What you do is call it the Annual General Meeting of something like, say, the Congo Gondola Club. That way, eventually, we can all get CGC shirts, and no-one ever knows that it’s actually an excuse for people to get together and have a drink…
“night out”
Yeah, but I’d feel silly announcing a Tea Party at the Green Man on a friday night. I’d spend the night thinking that Alice would turn up any moment..
