I think ‘The Lights Go Out All Over’ is more original (and contains more original universe-potential) than Elise of the Storm, and therefore would make a better target for more work. But I’m biased because I adore ‘everything suddenly changes’ modern / near future SF and find fantasy writing a bit meh in general.

I think ‘The Lights Go Out All Over’ is good on its own, as a short piece of writing. I remember wanting to know more about ‘Elise of The Storm’.
I haven’t voted for ‘something new’, but if I could,, I would have voted for that in second place, after ‘Elise of the Storm’.
