+ Take over the world.
Senji:
Isn’t that a bit optimistic?
Release that is, not Take Over World…
MP:
How about SVN? Like CVS, but easier to understand…
Aquarion:
SVN requires Apache2, PHP doesn’t like Apache2, so it’s more or less out of the picture. Plus, I know, understand and like CVS, and have a CVS repository already.
Kevin:
You call them reasons? They sound more like excuses to me :-)
sil:
You can install Apache and Apache 2 side-by-side, so you don’t need to migrate your Apache stuff to Apache 2 if you don’t want to.
I appreciate that you know CVS, but I found loads of benefits in moving to svn; perhaps you’ve already looked at it and rejected it, though.
Aquarion:
I admit I haven’t looked at it in detail in a while, and I keep meaning to, but since some of my projects are also on Sourceforge, I won’t be able to move away from CVS completely until they offer it, and I’d prefer only use one versioning system :-)
